Cookie Policy.
How Orbital Quest uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.
Last updated: 3 October 2026.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on a device by a website. Similar technologies can include local browser storage, pixels, tags and scripts. They may be used for essential operation, security, preferences, analytics or advertising.
2. What this website currently uses
Essential website technologies. The current Orbital Quest website does not use advertising cookies or non-essential analytics cookies. The site may use browser storage to remember whether a visitor has dismissed or acknowledged the site's privacy notice. This browser storage is not used to create advertising profiles.
No optional analytics currently active. Although the website architecture can accommodate analytics in the future, no optional analytics provider is activated in the current deployment. We will not activate non-essential analytics or advertising technologies that require consent until the relevant consent mechanism and disclosures are in place.
3. Consent and your choices
Where applicable law requires consent before placing or reading non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will request consent before doing so. You can refuse non-essential technologies, withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis, or change your browser settings to restrict or delete cookies.
Blocking essential technologies may affect certain website functions. Browser controls differ by device and browser, so consult your browser provider's instructions for details.
4. Third-party technologies
If Orbital Quest adds analytics, video, maps, social-media embeds, advertising, chat tools or other third-party services, those services may place or access their own cookies or similar technologies. Before activating technologies that require consent, the website will be updated with the relevant provider, purpose, category, retention period where applicable, transfer information and consent choices.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browser privacy signals are not universally standardised. Where a legally recognised signal, including Global Privacy Control, applies to processing carried out by Orbital Quest, we will handle it in accordance with applicable law. Because the current website does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, there is currently no such activity to opt out of.
6. Cookie categories
| Category | Purpose | Current status |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Website operation, security and basic functionality. | Used only where necessary. |
| Preference / browser storage | Remembering a visitor's privacy preference. | Used by the current consent interface. |
| Analytics | Understanding website usage and performance. | Not currently active. |
| Advertising / targeting | Advertising, profiling or cross-site targeting. | Not currently active. |

8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when technologies or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are made.
